PM Attends Sangranks Events, Golf Course in Siem Reap

SIEM REAP: Prime Minister Hun Sun and the First Lady Bun Rany opened the Angkor Sangkranta festivities on Friday, 14 April 2023, the first day of Khmer New Year. This morning, they presided over the Floating Lantern Ceremony at the temple. Afterwards, the Prime Minister posted pictures on his official Telegram channel with the text, ”Group golfing in Siem Reap.”

Before departing for the golf course, the Prime Minister and First Lady attended activities at the Angkor Sangkranta: lighting incense and candles, praying to the New Year deities for happiness and prosperity. At the Floating Lantern Ceremony they prayed for the elimination of evil and that happiness and good fortune bless their compatriots for the new year ahead.
